 Great set for Star Wars fanatic March 2, 2010

My 3-year old is obsessed with Star Wars - he's dressed as a star wars character for the last two Halloween, and will probably continue to do so for the next 2 years. The set was well received - he carries around one of the snow/storm troopers with him everywhere in the house, and has lost one of the little troopers and another helmet within the first 48 hours after receiving the set. there's a bit of educational value, since he's trying to repair the clone walker when the pieces come off, although for the most part his 7 year old brother is doing the repair jobs.

Lego Maniac 101
I bought this set because I wanted the figures (especially the clone commander) for my clone army. This set comes with one clone commander figure that has a normal printed head, torso, and helmet. The only thing different about the clone commander is he is equipped with black commander gear and pistols. In addition to clone commander this set comes with two normal clone trooper figures that have normal printed heads, torsos, and helmets. They are equipped with short blasters. This set also comes with one clone gunner figure that has a normal printed head but a special printed torso and helmet. He is also equipped with a short blaster. The walker itself is very simple build and when finished it looks very fast and maneuverable. The walker is equipped with to two flick-missiles (one on each side of the cockpit) and one primary blaster cannon. The walker can also seat two clone troopers. Well, here are the basics of the set:

This is a pretty simple set that can be built in about 15 minutes or so. The walker also has good pieces for a builder who likes to make spaceships. You get two minifigs of clone troopers.

bought this for my five year old for Christmas. He'd specifically asked for this kit because it has lots of stormtroopers. We put the clone walker together, then he took it apart and, with all of his other legos, built his own spaceships to carry the troopers. He didn't even try to put any of the other kits together, just mixed the pieces together to build his own. He has a blast with them every day. Can't beat Lego. If you're trying to have a collection of perfect Star Wars toys, then this is not very sturdy, as the Walker comes apart pretty easily, but the Legos themselves are practically indestructible and will give hours and hours of entertainment.

I belive that the krayt dragon on tatooine is the strongest in Star Wars but you might have a different idea.
